01

The service

PayEvidence provides employer-stated pay and hiring evidence collected from public job postings, delivered through this website, data exports and an HTTP API. By browsing the site, creating an account or using an API key you agree to these terms.

02

Accounts

Accounts are identified by an email address only and signed in with single-use links. You are responsible for the mailbox behind your account and for keeping your API keys confidential. Keys are issued per organization and must not be shared outside it.

03

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are sold by our merchant of record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), which handles payment, applicable sales tax or VAT, invoices and receipts. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. Cancellations and refunds are described in the Refund policy.

04

Acceptable use

Plans license internal business use: analysis, benchmarking, reporting and products that embed aggregated results. You may not resell or redistribute the underlying dataset as such, bypass plan quotas or rate limits, or use automated access outside the documented API. We may throttle or suspend keys that abuse the service.

05

Data, accuracy and no advice

Every figure is derived from what employers stated in public postings at observation time; postings change and disappear. The service is provided “as is”, without warranty of completeness, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. Statistics here are evidence, not legal, financial or compensation advice.

06

Intellectual property

The compilation, methodology, software and site content belong to the operator. You keep all rights to data you submit (for example an access request) and to work you build on top of licensed outputs used within your organization.

07

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from the service is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

08

Termination

You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that materially breaches these terms; where reasonable we will warn first. On termination, API keys deactivate and access ends.

09

Changes

Material changes to these terms or to the API contract are dated and announced on the public changelog. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

10

Contact

Questions about these terms: [email protected]. For purchases, the checkout contract is with Paddle under Paddle’s buyer terms; for the service itself, it is with the PayEvidence operator.

This page states the actual product contract in plain language. It is not formal legal advice; a production deployment should have counsel review the final terms.
Before production: the operator must set the real legal entity name, governing law and jurisdiction here. Placeholders must not ship to production.
